Definitely check out any rescues in your area–Paws with Pride (Akron), Ron’s Rescued Rascals (Kent), Paws and Prayers (Akron), and One of a Kind Pets (Akron) always have small dogs available for adoption.

All you have to do is to type “Chihuahua Rescue in Ohio” in your browser and click search. You will find every Chihuahua rescue in your state and can narrow it down from there. And do the same for “Small Dog Rescue in Ohio” or try typing “in or near Canton, Ohio” instead of just “Ohio.”
