I am going to the pet fair this weekend in Orange County Calif. because I am looking into adopting a dog. Does anyone know about costs and other details that I may need to know before adopting the dog?

It depends what the humane society charges.Each are different.Most give them their shots and spade or nueter them so they charge for this.My dog cost me .00 in Mo.

make sure you study up on breeds (or few different breeds considering you might get a mutt.) try dogbreedinfo.com
they also have a survey that u can take to give you an idea of what “pure breed” dog would suit you and your lifestyle. Good luck and good for you for considering saving a dog.
